Patricia Jordan is a first-generation Palestinian American writer whose work explores family, identity, immigration, and belonging. Raised in Detroit by Palestinian parents, she writes with warmth, honesty, and humor, preserving the memories, traditions, and resilience of her community. Her memoir, My Palestinian American Life, was selected for the KQED Summer Reading List. She is currently developing a companion cookbook celebrating the history, stories, and flavors of Palestinian cuisine for a new generation.
